TS&M Orchard
TS&M Orchard continues to grow! We will have some new additions to our orchard
this year. There will be a limited amount of blueberries available to be picked in July and
August. Bluecrop, Blueray, Chandler, Duke, Elliot, Jersey and Patriot varieties are all being
planted this spring. Invicta and Hinnomaki Red Gooseberries are another new addition that will be
available in limited numbers this first season. Gooseberry pie is scrumptious! We will also have
Joan J Primocane Red Raspberries in small amounts, too! The pear trees are loaded with fruit buds
providing yet another fall flavor.
This season, we expect the apples to be in bloom around the third week of April, depending on the
weather, of course. It is a beautiful sight to see all of those trees in bloom from 36th street.
It's an even greater experience to stop in and stroll through all 5½ miles of tree rows. That
means that all 4000+ trees should be available for picking this fall. Now, that's a lot of
apples!! These fresh picked apples will make the best caramel apples in town! You won't find any
fresher or tastier apples anywhere. And they are right here in Bellevue!
We offer tours of the orchard for groups of all ages. During the tours, you may sample the apples
and you might get to see the cider press in action. So start planning your school, club or church
group tour for this fall at TS&M Orchard. And bring your family and friends to try all of the
delicious fresh fruits!
